Andrew Abell – Featured Technician!

Congratulations to our Featured Tech, Andrew Abell! Andrew has been a very busy man during the winter months, taking 4 of our lead video T.A.P (Tech Advancement Program) sessions:
-GFX/image processing
-Projection
-Video recording
-Introduction to our new AK-HC3800 Camera rig!

Andrew’s thirst for knowledge is paired with a keen sense for customer service, allowing him to quickly become a popular technician throughout the DMV. Video has always been his strong-suit but Andrew is well-versed in the lighting and audio realms as well. He continues to sign up for all the TAP Sessions we have to offer, and we couldn’t be happier with his growth!

If you are interested in expanding your skill-set through our FREE T.A.P. Sessions, please visit our Technician Portal and contact us with the tag line: TAP Training and express what fields you’re looking to improve in. 2018 is gearing up to be a busy year and we’re excited to get going!

Wishing you all prosperity in the New Year!

EventMediaTech’s hat must be tipped.  The entirety of our staff, technicians, vendors and family made 2017 an incredible year of growth and prosperity. As we all face the start of our own resolutions, Eventmediatech will set new challenges and hold itself to ever higher standards. Upon some internal reflection, we have come up with a few to get us started!

  • We will do our part to make sure the DMV always remains a successful market for the AudioVisual Industry via our business integrity and industry training.
  • We will listen, harder than ever, to our technicians and clients to find inspiration for improvements.
  • We will train and promote from within, establishing career relationships with our Technicians.
  • We will look out and care for each other, with an understanding that it is our duty to protect and support our Technicians.
  • We will cut back on beer and carbs! (At least until Friday)

We also quickly wanted to say thanks to everyone that made it out for this year’s holiday party!  (9’X16′) Super Nintendo Mario Tennis was equal parts epic and damaging to our vision.

Also I am not against shamelessly plugging pictures of my cute kid for likes. That is all, thanks everyone!
